2017 looking back...2018 looking forward

What a year!

As I look back through my photos I was busy with so many things. Family, work and fun.

Kicking off 2017 with a birthday dinner in Chicago with my daughter and friends to seeing art and being inspired by the beauty in the world around me...it was a great year.

Looking forward to 2018. Lots more art, travel, beautiful things to see and fun stuff to do.

SUMMER 2017! Art lives.

Summer has arrived and work is growing again.

I had a really great, first ever, home show and sale on June 3. Thanks to my new art connection with Evanston Made and it's founder Lisa Degliantoni—my husband and I welcomed many new and old friends to see my work.

In addition to the show at home I was pleasantly surprised to see my work in the window of the Evanston Art Center! The piece is titled "system: visions."

This summer is going to be great!

Springing back to art.

For the past 3 years we have been renovating our home. We have finally settled down and I even have a nice studio space. Yay!  It's small with a view to the tree lined street. Lovely.

I have decided to start my work with collage pieces. The pieces are small but require a lot of careful placement of color, shape and texture.
